Who Are We?

The Arrow Group consist of seven members:

What Are We About?

Basically we all get together at least once a year for a video shoot around some part of the United Kingdom.

Why Do We Do This?

We enjoy doing amateur video and also honing our camera skills. A lot of the stills on this site are vidcaps from our films.

Why the Name "Arrow Group"?

It was coined in 1985 after a local competition to find a secret Golden Arrow which was buried in the region. Although it was never found by us it was decided that we should continue to meet regularly and go on a filming holiday once a year.

Why the Website?

All just a bit of fun, really. And also to boost our egos!

How long are you going to continue?

Hopefully until our Zimmer frames give way! But seriously, we aim to continue doing these trips as long as possible. It is something that we all look forward to even though it is only a few days away, it's a great tonic for all of us.

I notice that all of the trips so far have been confined to Britain. Any plans to go further afield?

Basically we have stayed mainly in Britain because of the fact that to go abroad would require more time. Some of us are married and have families to attend to and so it really isn't possible to spend more time away at this moment. Maybe in the future we will spread our wings a little further, perhaps to the near continent. Who knows…

Can I join this wonderful gathering then?

Sorry me old chinas, it's strictly bonafides only. We think that seven members is more than enough! Mind you, if one of us were to drop out then you never know.
